If you reuse used oil once Risk:

In today’s modern world, fast food restaurants are growing fast near the sidewalks. In urban areas, the fast food culture attracts almost 70 percentage of the population. Mostly, people those who are go home after their work, they often buy and eat this fast food. Doctors advised that, the oil and masalas which shop keepers used to make fast food is not quality and due to this, it affects the liver. The Food Safety and Standards Commission of India states that, the oil which is used one time is not reused. Recent researches declared that, for improving the quality of food, star hotels did not reused the oil. Fast food restaurants in streets, bought that oil for low price and used it. They use this oil again and again and it releases toxin and also it increases the free radical and acid which causes disease. Moreover, it destroys the cells and make changes in gene and in course of time it causes cancer and create so many diseases which is incurable. According to Food Safety and Standards Commission, the food which makes is harmful for health is prohibited by under the rule 2011.

What are the consequences of this?

The oil which is used for preparing food again and again, it causes abdominal pain for some people, and if we continuously consume this food, it will affect the liver, pancreas and cause nervous debility, diabetes and also creates so many diseases which is incurable. And also it makes changes in gene and in course of time, it cause cancer.

How can we prevent this?

1. As we are consumers, we should ask the shop keeper and make sure that the food which is prepared by oil is already used or not and also we instruct them to make quality food. If they violate, inform about this to food safety officers directly or through the whatsapp number 9444042322.

2. Owners of fast food restaurants don’t do this for profit. You are requested to prepare the quality food and serve the customers like that you provide to your children in homes.

3. The Food Safety Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu should conduct inspections and check the quality of oil. If they use the oil which is not in quality, you must take severe action against them and create awareness among  the public and restaurant owners.
