Tender coconut is a gift of nature, which helps to cure many diseases and decrease the heat of our body. Siddha medical reports declared that, this tender coconut helps to cure corona also. Today, can you believe that such tender coconut is a toxic biocide containing the residue of chemical pesticides? That’s true. Have you ever feel that the tongue loses its taste for a few hours and goes numb while buying tender coconut from some shops? If you feel that, surely the tender coconut contains residue of chemical pesticides. Coconut farmers, who traditionally enriched the soil by mixing synthetic fertilizers with natural fertilizers and harvested high yields. But, now they used chemical pesticides and chemicals, which are banned and harmful to society, instead of tradition they put these in the polythene bags and closed it and tie it in the root of coconut tree. This toxic chemical is mixed directly in the tender coconut and it leads to cause various diseases in human beings.
How can we find out this?
1.The tender coconut, if it is toxic, the taste will change and the tongue starts to itching and gives a feel of numb.
2.If you have any doubt in tender coconut which you bought, you will the test the tender coconut through laboratory and detect the chemicals in it.
What are the effects?
1.The tongue will rough and the sense of tongue will be changed.
2.It will cause degeneration in skin, eyes, DNA and finally it leads to kidney failure, cancer and neurological problems.
Ways to Prevent:
1.As we are consumers, we should buy and use directly from farmers who are familiar to us as much as possible.
2.If you find toxic in tender coconut, when you drink, take the sample of tender coconut and tested through a laboratory and if you find it, filed a petition and inform the food safety officials.
3.Farmers don’t do this business for profit. Keep the concern about the society and stop applying the chemical pesticides in the roots of tender coconut. Instead of this, enriched the soil with natural fertilizers according to the rules and regulations of the government and multiply your harvest.
4.The Federal Pesticide Board should come forward and formulate the policies to prevent the injection of chemical pesticides in roots and take immediate action on registered committee, which give permission for production. Moreover, test the pesticides and if you got a clear view that these pesticides are not harmful to humans then only give the license to that company. If you find any licensed companies do this, immediately banned that company.
5.We request the Agriculture Department Officials to create awareness among the farmers and encourage them to prepare fertilizers which are not harmful for society.
