HAZARDS OF LABEL INSIDE SNACKS PACK

Some companies produce snacks and pack their snacks in plastic bags and the paper which mentions the name of the company, quality, expiry date and other information is pasted on the top of the plastic bags. Instead of this, they put this paper inside along with the snacks. Due to this, some chemicals exist from the ink which is printed in paper. The chemicals like naphthalene, hydrocarbon, carium, chromium and artificial colours which is used for food processing is sticking the food and cause various diseases. Doctors declared that, like plastic, the food which is mixed with ink printed label is also dangerous. According to section 29 and 30 of the Food Safety and Standardization Act 2006, it is responsibility of manufacturer and sellers to manufacture the food products without toxic and adulteration. According to clauses 10 and 11 of section 3 of the Food Safety and Standard Package Regulation 2018, the manufacturer and sellers making sure that the ink printed label is not inside with the package of food products. According to clause 8 of section 4 of Safety and Standards (labelling and display) Regulation 2020, manufacturer and sellers making sure that the information about the note of food products is clearly printed in the outside of package for consumers. If manufacturer violating such laws and regulations they are fined of Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakhs under section 51 and 54 of the Food Safety and Standardization Act 2006, and imprisonment for 7 years under section 59, and fined of Rs. 1000 and imprisonment for 6 months under section 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code. However, the manufacturers are irresponsible and did not follow the rules and the government officials also not investigate the manufactures and not doing their duty properly.
Fears of adding plastic materials to the heated oil used to make crisps to keep the crispiness intact

The snacks which is fried in oil is like to eat from children to adults is usual. In that too, chips in banana, potato, yam are loved by everyone. We all know that these chips are prepared in hot oil in front of our eyes and keep for selling near the streets or already prepared and pack it in the polythene bags. But we didn’t know that the things which they are used for preparing chips. The reason for that we love and buy the chips is because of its crunchiness.
Avoid burning polythene bags along with rubbish:

Polythene bags, now known as carry bags, is one of the thing which we use daily. When we see the hands of people, those who are going to market, grocery store, meat shop we can see these polythene bags. These polythene bags are dangerous. After we use it, we dumped these polythene bags with biodegradable waste instead of separation. After few days, we burn the waste. Burning of these polythene bags will pollute the airspace. Because of this, a great danger awaits for sky and earth. The heat of polythene produces a poisonous gas called Dioxin. This poisonous gas will cause cancer. If we inhale this gas, it causes wheezing, lung and heart problems. These polythene bags shrink the earth and sterilize the land. Although people know the dangers of polythene bags, still they use such polythene bags which is harmful to our life and environment and also they are selfish and do not care about future generations. As we people, we must work together and protect the environment from this impact.
PAPER STRAWS: ARE THEY REALLY AS ECO-FRIENDLY

Two or three years ago a plastic Drinking Straw was used to make soft drinks in bakeries. But now the use of a suction tube Drinking Straw made of paper, which is the only material, is welcome. But in this paper Ana Drinking Straw is now made in many colors and used in stores. It contains chemicals. When we drink drinking straw drinks with those colors, we cool the drinking straw and absorb the chemicals that come out of it. When used consistently, it causes changes in the cells in our body and can lead to cancer over the course of the day. In addition, various disorders occur in the stomach. It is still the cause of many diseases
Mineral water sold in plastic bottles is harmful to human society;

Water is most important for human life. About 60 percent of the human body is made of water. Man can live without food. But waterless life is a question and today we bought that water for price. People who are living in town, commercial premises and offices use can water which was purified by a process called Reverse Osmosis (RO). According to the law of government, In this process, first it removes the contaminants from unfiltered water and pressure forces it through a semi-permeable membrane. Then it was filtered in a carbon filter and pass the ultraviolet rays and flavoured then it was enclosure in cans. But some factories, for removing the contaminants they use alum stones. Carbonation of this water produces carbonic acid which causes harm to our body. The molecules found in the drinking water is T.D.S. colour arsenic, ammonia, calcium, copper, iron, chlorine, chromium are should be 10500/2012 within the specified levels of the Indian Standardization Standards (HL) approved by the standards institution of India. It is questionable whether the water contains this level or not.
People are wondering if there are any chemicals in jaggery and sugar that are harmful to the body

Food is medicine. Our ancestors used country sugar but today we renounced the way of ancestors and using white sugar. But now-a-days, most of the people knows that the white sugar contain chemicals. So they move on to the food habit of ancestors and start to use country sugar. Country sugar contains lime stone, calcium and it have the power to control diabetes mellitus. Recently, Food Safety officers inspect the factories and they came to know that some chemicals are added in country sugar. For changing the country sugar into white colour, they add the chemical sodium hydro sulphate in large quantities and for increasing the weight, they add the chemical super phosphate, gypsum and white sugar. With these, they add soap particles to remove the filth. Thus, adulterated country sugar causes so many effects to our body. This inclusion of such chemicals in the food is prohibited under the Food Safety and Standards Ordinance 2011. The food without chemicals is a fundamental right of every individual under Article 21 of the constitution. It is the duty of our government to implement this.

In today’s modern world, fast food restaurants are growing fast near the sidewalks. In urban areas, the fast food culture attracts almost 70 percentage of the population. Mostly, people those who are go home after their work, they often buy and eat this fast food. Doctors advised that, the oil and masalas which shop keepers used to make fast food is not quality and due to this, it affects the liver. The Food Safety and Standards Commission of India states that, the oil which is used one time is not reused. Recent researches declared that, for improving the quality of food, star hotels did not reused the oil. Fast food restaurants in streets, bought that oil for low price and used it. They use this oil again and again and it releases toxin and also it increases the free radical and acid which causes disease. Moreover, it destroys the cells and make changes in gene and in course of time it causes cancer and create so many diseases which is incurable. According to Food Safety and Standards Commission, the food which makes is harmful for health is prohibited by under the rule 2011.
DANGER BY TEA BAGS

Due to the change of civilization in the modern world, Industries introduce new things to attract people. These new things will came in food also. When we go abroad, train, hotels in town we drink tea. Instead of filter tea, they give tea with tea bag. In tea bag, they pack small amount of tea powder in small pockets and attach it with a thread and immersed in hot milk or hot water. As the tea was prepared by this way, the bag allows to be brewed while still immersed in hot milk or hot water, allowing the tea to drain quickly without staining. Now-a-days due to the urgency of people, companies and shopkeeper prefer tea bags to make tea in a short period of time. If you think, the gum which is used to sticky the tea bags and the chemical exists from the gum and mixed in the tea is any harmful to our body, the answer is yes. It was declared by recent research results. These tea bags are made of PVC, food grade plastic and cotton materials. Most of the companies, made nylon plastic bags for the staying ratio of hot water. MCGILL university researchers conducted a research and proclaims that, one plastic tea bag emits 11.6 billion micro plastics and 3.1 billion nano plastics. For easier to tear, Epichlorohydrin is added to make these bags. According to the Occupational Safety and Health Organization, this chemical is a risk factor and it causes cancer. Chemicals like Polypropylene and Fluoride are used to closed the tea bags. Can you believe if the tea which we like to drink is full of such poison?
Climate Change and Its Effects

The world is facing the greatest devastation in climate change due to the industrial revolution and the over-exploitation of natural resources by man. Industries emit large quantities of green house gases like Methane, Carbon dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. Today, because of these gases, polar ice caps melts and it was raised above the sea level. In the past 30 years, 28 trillion tons of ice caps melts because of global warming. It was declared by a team of scientists with the help of satellites through the poles, mountains and glaciers. As the same way the ice caps melts, at the end of this century the sea level will be raised and the people those who are lived near the sea shore will be suffered and many big cities will sink in sea. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) states that, from 2030 to 2052 the temperature will raise at 1.5 degree Celsius. In the end of this century, if the sea level will be raise, the livelihood and habitat of 10 lakh people will be affected.

The Dangers of Artificial Coloring in Food

In bakeries, synthetic pigments are added in desserts and soft drinks in different colours and it is eye-catching for all. But, it is slightly unsuitable for nutritious foods. Due to the high cost of natural pigments, traders and manufacturers add synthetic pigments for profit. Doctors are advised us to avoid these kind of food, but we prefer foods and beverages made with such synthetic pigments. In shops and bakeries, they know the addition of natural pigments does not cause any harm, but for business profit they add synthetic pigments in cake, Mysore pak, halwa, and which was makes in different colours to attract the people. Lab reports proclaim that, if we consume these products continuously it will cause various physical ailments and side effects. Addition of synthetic pigments in food is exceeding the permissible level of 100 ppm is prohibited under our Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 and Food Addition Regulation Rule 2011. For increasing their sales and profit, they add too much of synthetic pigments without any concern for our human society. Adding too much of Synthetic pigments in food is dangerous to our human society.
